Ideally, what we all want from textile ink is a smooth, light print. It prints faithful colour reproduction as well as optimum levels of gloss, which is breathable enough.

This screen printing ink should make the details of a design a versatile enough composition to mark on a variety of garments. Finally, it must be durable enough to withstand years of wear and tear in the t-shirt and washing it. For the operator, a simple and easy application that is economical and environmentally friendly.

Plastisol inks have better colour vividness.

For a long time, screen printing ink has continued to be the most widely used ink in textile printing. SK ink realises an excellent rendering of vivid and brilliant colours (luminosity, saturation). Especially on darker clothes. Water-based inks can reproduce a vivid impression on lighter clothing colours, but not as well. When you need your colours to be vivid, shiny and stand out in print, choose Plastisol screen printing ink from SK Color Screen Supplies.

Plastisol SK ink reproduces colours identically.

For the same reasons that colours are brighter with SK screen printing ink, shade matching can be achieved with a specific process shade. When your print colours need to be accurate (say for brand consistency.) Use SK plastisol ink. It does not matter the colour of your garment or the type of fabric. If you want the hue to be bright red 185 C, then you will obtain it easily.

Screen printing ink offers greater versatility.

By versatility we mean the flexibility of printing on different sorts of fabrics, with diverse types of inks and additives. Also, under different pressing conditions. If this seems to be an important factor, it is especially for screen printers. And that's one of the main reasons plastisol ink has continued the industry standard for decades. Even as Direct-To-Film (DTF) digital printing is rapidly advancing in the market.

You can apply the SK plastisol ink to just about any medium like wood, cardboard and of course textiles in general.

SK Plastisol will not air dry. For an ink to cure, there must be evaporation of a component of its formula. SK plastisol textile ink contains little or no solvent and cannot dry out. Because of this characteristic, it can stay on the sieves, and the lids can be left open. Manutech-Print conscientiously recommends you close them securely, this prevents lint and dirt from mixing in the ink. Plus, after your run of prints, unused plastisol ink can be repackaged in its box. This gives you a great advantage in appreciably reducing the waste produced and the production costs.

Our tip: Plastisol SK ink is easier to use and offers a higher yield than water-based ink. SK screen printing ink remains stable for a long time and therefore maintains its ease of application. By applying the textile ink with the EZGrip squeegee, you will quickly get an excellent result, reducing muscle fatigue!
