A DTG printing line is not limited to the printer alone. Garment pretreatment, ink curing and final pressing are all integral parts of the DTG printing process. On the second-hand market, these complementary pieces of equipment allow a complete workshop to be set up at a controlled cost.
The most frequently available DTG pretreatment machines are the Schulze Pretreatmaker IV and V and the Polyprint PreTreater Pro. Other models may be available depending on opportunities.

Heat presses are used to apply textile transfers, fix DTF prints or apply flex and flock films to garments. They provide controlled heat and pressure application for a durable finish.
In DTG printing, the heat press smooths garment fibres before printing to ensure a flat, even surface. It can also cure pretreatment fluid and fix ink when no conveyor dryer is available.
