Description

The Poker 1200 textile dryer is not a reduced version of the Poker 1900 from Chiossi e Cavazzuti. It is built around a 1200 mm format, suited to DTG workshops increasing output.

This format fits easily into medium-sized workshops, while keeping a 4000 mm heating zone, shared across the range.

With its 1200 mm conveyor belt, it handles different production volumes in DTG, on small to medium runs. With a 3-minute dwell time, output reaches up to 570 pieces per hour.

2 Poker 1200 dryer configurations

The POKER 1200 textile dryer is available in several configurations. Each model changes the workflow and workstation organisation.

Poker 1200: standard configuration

Entry-level setup, ready to fit into an existing DTG line.

Output: 570 pieces/hour at 3 minutes (A4 print on T-shirt with water-based ink)

Poker 1200: returning conveyor belt (up and down)

The POKER 1200 with return belt allows loading and unloading at the same station. The lower belt runs 10 to 15 °C cooler, reducing heat on returning garments.

This configuration makes handling easier at the exit and supports more consistent drying on sensitive textiles.

Option available for the DTG textile dryer

Cooling hood at exit

Available as an option for the Poker 1200. The cooling hood operates at the end of the drying process.

Operation: air at the tunnel exit is partially channelled into a cooling zone. Garments drop from 180 °C to 70–80 °C in 30–40 seconds.

Direct benefit:

• Immediate handling without burn risk
• Reduces residual deformation on garments

The POKER 1200 textile dryer runs at sustained output levels. The values below are based on A4 prints on T-shirts with water-based inks.

• 3 minutes: 570 pieces/hour
• 4 minutes: 430 pieces/hour
• 5 minutes: 340 pieces/hour
• 6 minutes: 280 pieces/hour

These values may vary depending on fabric type, drying area and required drying level.

Compatibility with textile printing lines

The POKER 1200 textile dryer sits behind DTG lines running at steady output. Its 1200 mm belt width allows multiple garments to be processed depending on their size, while keeping a smooth production flow.

Workshop applications of the POKER 1200 textile dryer

Multi-garment DTG drying

T-shirts, sweatshirts, socks, smooth and stretch fabrics. The forced hot air system ensures ink fixation across the entire printed area.

Pretreatment DTG drying

Progressive heat build-up (thermostat + zone control) ensures the pretreatment dries fully.

Water-based ink drying

Its hot air system speeds up the drying of water-based inks. 

The POKER 1200 textile dryer is also used for drying water-based inks in screen printing.
