Description
The DTF transfer remover Flex Remover is designed to quickly correct small textile printing errors. Peel off a misapplied transfer and reapply the correct artwork, without discarding the garment. Available in a 500 ml bottle with pipette included.
Save your garment after a DTF application error
Pressed a logo in the wrong position, the wrong colour, or the wrong letter? The Flex Remover is the product designed to fix this type of mistake without damaging the fabric.
It dissolves the thermofusible adhesive of the DTF transfer, flex or flock, allowing you to remove it cleanly: you can then reapply the correct artwork onto the same garment.
⚠️ This product is designed for small corrections: logos, letters, small visuals. It is not suitable for removing large-format transfers (A3 and above) or transfers that have been pressed for several weeks.
Who is it for and when should it be used?
The Flex Remover is used by garment decoration workshops and independent creators in three typical situations. In each case, the goal is the same: fix the mistake before the garment becomes a write-off.
- Misalignment: logo too high, too far left, or off-centre
- Wrong letter or wrong artwork: transfer pressed onto the wrong colourway or wrong item
- Colour error noticed too late: after pressing, before dispatch to the customer
It works on DTF (Direct To Film) transfers, heat-applied flex and flock. Compatible with cotton and cotton/polyester blends: always test on a hidden area first when working with synthetic or technical fabrics.
How to remove a DTF transfer: 4-step guide
The Flex Remover requires no specialist equipment. Follow these four steps in order for a clean, residue-free result.
- Prepare your workspace: wear protective gloves, ensure good ventilation, and place a cloth or newspaper under the garment.
- Apply the Flex Remover using the pipette directly onto the transfer to be removed, from the front and/or the back of the fabric.
- Wait for the liquid to penetrate the adhesive and begin to dissolve it. Then carefully remove the transfer using weeding tweezers.
- Allow to dry completely before reapplying a new transfer. If a faint mark remains, a heat press of 2–3 seconds will remove it.
Use the Flex Remover at the right time: what you need to know
It is important to be clear about the product's limitations to avoid disappointment. The Flex Remover is a precision tool, not a universal solution.
- Not suitable for large formats (A3 and above): requires a significant amount of product and more time
- Does not guarantee a perfect result on synthetic or waterproof fabrics
- Less effective on a transfer that has been pressed for several weeks
- For fresh, small corrections, it is the fastest solution on the market
What's in the bottle
The Flex Remover is supplied ready to use, no additional accessories required. Everything needed for precise application is included.

Frequently asked questions
Does the DTF transfer remover work on all fabrics?
It is effective on cotton and cotton/polyester blends. Results may vary on synthetic fabrics (pure polyester, nylon, lycra). Always test on a hidden area before applying the product to the full surface.
Can a new DTF transfer be applied after using the Flex Remover?
That is precisely the purpose of this product. Once the transfer has been removed and the fabric is completely dry, you can reposition and press a new DTF transfer onto the same area without any issue.
How long should the product be left to work?
Working time varies depending on the thickness of the transfer and the type of fabric. In most cases, a few seconds are enough to start the release. If the transfer resists, apply more product and wait a little longer before attempting removal.
Why is this product not suitable for large formats such as A3?
An A3 transfer involves a large surface area of adhesive. The Flex Remover is formulated for localised corrections. On a large surface, the removal becomes harder to control, the risk of leaving residue increases, and the process requires more product and more time.
Should the garment be washed after using the Flex Remover?
Washing is not required before reapplying a transfer, but a wash is recommended before dispatching to a customer to remove any solvent residue and ensure a professional finish.
What is the difference between the Flex Remover and a DTF cleaning solution?
DTF cleaning solutions are designed to maintain the print heads of your machine. The Flex Remover is applied directly to the garment to remove an already-pressed transfer. These are not interchangeable products.
