What is a DTF printer?

A professional DTF printer is an inkjet textile printer designed to print high-quality visuals onto a special PET film. The transfer is then applied to a wide variety of textiles: organic cotton, polyester blends, workwear or sportswear.

Unlike DTG printers that print directly onto fabric, the DTF machine prints onto film before heat transfer. This technology offers great flexibility and is suitable for both single-item personalisation and high-volume production. Investment and consumable costs remain more affordable.
