Used with our inks and powder, our selection offers exceptional results and unrivalled versatility. On manutech-print.com, we highlight high-quality PET films, ready to transform your ideas and the inspirations of your customers into textile reality.
There are several DTF film formats, this choice naturally depends on the printer used. Printing on a 60cm x 100m DTF roll demands a large format DTF printer. This system is suitable for textile printing workshops with medium or high production capacity.
The A3 DTF sheet, more versatile, is used with a desktop printer converted for this printing technique.
The DTF transfer sheet also allows you to print with a DTG printer like the Brother GTX PRO BULK or an Epson F2200. You can use its DTG machines as a DTF printer without changing the ink, but by adapting the RIP (printing software) settings.
Our DTF films are compatible with the majority of inks used in DTF printing. By using our DTF inks as well as our hot melt powder, this ensures a good quality result.
Using our film for DTF, you produce precise prints with amazing detail, vibrant colours and faithful reproduction of designs.
The DTF cold peel film comes off the garment after it has completely cooled after pressing it. Usually about 20-30 seconds, you can use an aluminium block to cool the DTF transfer quickly.
This method is repeatedly utilised for projects that need a glossy, professional finish. Benefits include bright, attractive colours, with strong adhesion between transfer and garment once cooled.
The DTF transfer film is peeled when hot, they come off the garment shortly after application. It has the advantage of eliminating the wait for complete cooling. This allows you to quickly fulfil orders from your customers, ideal for jobs requiring rapid and, above all, efficient production. However, the colour rendition may be slightly different, a more matte side compared to cold release transfers.
The main distinction is the cooling time demand for the textile transfer to peel. DTF hot peel film offers a quick solution, while cold peel film offers a brighter and more vivid colour quality but makes a longer wait.
DTF hot peel film remains a bit expensive due to its more complex manufacturing process. This DTF transfer film has a more complex coating layer to apply. As well, it calls for strict control to get a uniform coating offering excellent ink adhesion.
The DTF hot peel allows for almost immediate removal after using the heat press. This offers a much shorter production time. This makes it possible to carry out more orders.
DTF cold peel, although a superior in quality is less effective because of the extended wait time before film removal.
DTF hot peel film uses a coating with a slightly shorter wash resistance. But the DTF transfer resists many washes! While cold peel film offers better wash resistance, colours hold up better.
This specific choice depends on your priorities. If you prefer lower cost and brilliant colours, opt for cold peel film. Although it demands time for the DTF transfer to cool.
For rapid and efficient production, DTF hot peel film may be more suitable for your operational needs.
Beyond the difference between cold peel and hot peel, DTF films exist with a coating on the side or single side and double side. Currently, innovative products are arriving on the market like films for fluorescent DTF, with an oiled effect, etc.
