Description
PMI Full Adhesive Tape is a 5.1 cm masking tape for screen printing. Its adhesive covers the full width, with no free zone. The PMI Tape brand ranks among the leaders in screen printing tapes.
This tape uses the same adhesive as Split Tape, without the blue strips. The adhesive runs across the whole masking tape surface. It therefore holds even stuck straight onto the mesh. This lets you mask wide areas of the screen.
On long runs, pinholes form in the stencil. Ink passes through these tiny gaps and spoils the print. This tape lays over the mesh to seal them. It blocks ink without touching the image area.
This screen protection tape also covers logos etched on the frames. It works as a block out on the print side of the screen. It suits both the inside and the back of the frame. Masking stays clean across the whole covered area.
This tape is solvent resistant. It holds in place through the run and the cleanup. The adhesive does not lift against standard wash chemicals. Removal is then clean, with no residue left behind.
The adhesive never turns gummy and does not clog the mesh. The stencil stays intact for reuse. Screen reclaim starts faster. Cleanup speeds up on the next runs.
