Description
The XP600 DTF printhead, also referenced as F1080-A1, FA09121, FA09xxx and DX11, is the most widely used replacement head for 30cm and A3 DTF printers. Manufactured in Japan, it combines reliable print quality with accessible maintenance costs.
Based on Micro-Piezo technology, it features 1,080 nozzles for a native resolution of 1,440 dpi, compatible with CMYK and white DTF inks for consistent textile transfer production in small and medium format.
Each printhead is new, non-refurbished.
Micro-Piezo Technology and Print Performance
Micro-Piezo technology controls each ink droplet through mechanical deformation, without heat. This ensures stable jetting and preserves DTF ink composition over time. This printhead handles variable droplet volumes from 4.5 to 40 picolitres at 46 kHz jetting frequency. The accepted viscosity range of 3 to 5 mPa·s covers all standard CMYK and white DTF inks for stable DTF production on 30cm and A3 format.

The XP600 F1080-A1 / FA09121 is compatible with most 30cm and A3 DTF printers using the XP600 printhead system. Some 42cm and 60cm models use two XP600 heads in tandem.

Applications
The XP600 is the standard printhead for small and medium format DTF production : PET film printing, powder application and heat transfer onto fabric. It supports single-unit personalisation and short to medium runs, making it a practical choice for workshop environments with regular production requirements.
Installation and Replacement
Replacing an XP600 printhead requires care and preparation. Before installation, flush the ink circuit and check the condition of DTF XP600 dampers and the ink supply system. A contaminated circuit can damage a new head within the first hours of use. Once installed, run a full nozzle check and verify head alignment before resuming production.
Maintenance and Recommended Parts
Cap Top XP600
The XP600 cap top keeps nozzles humidified at rest. A worn or clogged cap top is one of the leading causes of nozzle blockage. Simultaneous replacement with the printhead is strongly advised.
Data Cable XP600
Replacing the DTF XP data cable is systematic when fitting a new XP600 printhead. A worn cable can damage the new head within the first print cycles. Do not overlook this step.

FAQ – XP600 DTF Printhead
What is the difference between F1080-A1 and FA09121 ?
No physical difference. Both references identify the same printhead from the same production line. The only difference is the revision code on the chip. They are fully interchangeable.
Is the XP600 compatible with my 30cm DTF printer ?
The F1080-A1 is the standard printhead for 30cm DTF printers. Colorsun, Yuxunda, Sinotec, Oric and Fedar fit it as standard on this format. Check the reference on your printer board to confirm compatibility.
Should the data cable be replaced at the same time as the printhead ?
Yes. Data cable replacement is systematic when changing an XP600 printhead. A worn cable can damage the new head from the first print cycles. The XP600 Data Cable is available separately from Manutech-Print.
White lines on my DTF print ?
Horizontal white lines indicate nozzle loss. Run a nozzle check from the printer utility. If automatic cleaning does not resolve the issue, manual cleaning or printhead replacement may be required.
