Description
The DTG pretreatment nozzle for Ecofreen Mister T2 and T2 Pro sprays the liquid onto the T-shirt before printing. This treatment prepares the fabric for DTG (Direct To Garment) printing. Each machine uses two, one on the left and one on the right. A clean, well-aligned nozzle lays down an even coat of pretreatment across the whole garment.
What are the specifications of the Mister T2 nozzle?
Before ordering, these few points confirm that the nozzle matches the machine in the workshop.
- Compatibility: Ecofreen Mister T2 and Mister T2 Pro;
- Position: left or right nozzle;
- Fitting: the machine's nozzle cap nut;
- Adjustment: angle set using the graduations under the lid;
- Cleaning: distilled water only.
When should a Mister T2 nozzle be replaced?
According to the Ecofreen manual, two faults point to a clogged or worn nozzle. Pretreatment streaks appear on the T-shirt, or the spray varies from one pass to the next. With no liquid at all, the solenoid valve for Ecofreen Mister T DTG pretreatment machines is checked first.
How to replace the nozzle on a Mister T2 or T2 Pro?
The Ecofreen manual sets out four steps, from removal through to angle adjustment:
- Switch the machine off with the POWER button;
- Unscrew the nozzle cap nut anticlockwise;
- Fit the new nozzle into the cap nut, keeping it correctly aligned;
- Screw the cap nut back on, then check the angle on the graduations.
The two nozzles must not be set horizontally. Otherwise, the sprays overlap in the centre of the T-shirt.
How to keep a nozzle clean for longer?
Pretreatment that dries in the orifice eventually blocks the nozzle. The Ecofreen manual gives two steps against clogging. The removed nozzle spends 6 to 7 minutes in an ultrasonic bath with distilled water. Keeping a single pretreatment liquid per machine also avoids a chemical reaction that blocks the nozzles.
Why choose this nozzle for the Mister T2?
It fits in place of the original nozzle, on the same cap nut. Replacing a clogged nozzle restores an even layer of pretreatment, the basis for sharp DTG printing. It is part of the DTG spare parts range from Manutech-Print.
