Description

The DL60X5FV is the fastest DTF printer in the DL range, with a print speed reaching 65 linear metres per hour. It is fitted with 5 Epson I3200 print heads and handles a higher volume of white pigmented ink than the 2-head and 4-head configurations.

The DTF maintenance kit for the DL60X5FV is assembled specifically for this architecture: 5 capping tops and 20 dampers sized for Epson I3200 print heads. It is the most complete kit in the range by number of wear parts.

The quantities in this kit are calculated for a complete service of the DL60X5FV. They are not interchangeable with the 2-head or 4-head kits.

Why these parts wear and when to replace them

On a 5-head Epson I3200 printer running at up to 65 linear metres per hour, the white ink circuit is under greater continuous load than any other configuration in the DL range. Twenty dampers supply ink to each nozzle across all 5 heads. A blocked Epson I3200 damper on any one of the 5 heads is enough to cause visible banding on DTF transfers. A worn capping top breaks the head seal at rest and leads to nozzle drying.

A clogged main filter restricts ink flow across all 5 heads simultaneously. The encoder strip and limit switch sensor are mechanical parts subject to friction wear and ink spray.

Compatibility and operating conditions

This DTF maintenance kit is designed specifically for the DL60X5FV, a 5-head Epson I3200 DTF printer compatible with 60 cm PET film and water-based white and CMYK DTF inks. Parts are sized for this 5-head configuration. For 2-head or 4-head printers, damper and capping top quantities differ : dedicated kits are available on Manutech-Print.
