ROQ FLASH MOBY | large format Flash dryer
- Reference: ROQFLASHMOBY
Description
In textile screen printing, ink pre-curing becomes critical as artwork size increases.
The large-format intermediate flash unit ROQ Flash Moby provides a pre-curing solution designed for large textile prints. It handles areas up to 1,020 × 380 mm with a mobile heating panel travelling across pallets up to 1,100 mm long.
Technical features of the ROQ Flash Moby
The ROQ Flash Moby 20250 4XL combines automation, heat control and direct integration on an automatic press.
- Temperature control : integrated probe
The large-format flash unit measures textile temperature in real time and automatically adjusts the exposure time. - Active drying zone selection
The operator activates only the required heating area according to the artwork size and position, reducing energy consumption. - Settings from the automatic press
Temperature and exposure time are adjusted directly from the carousel interface.
Compatible with ROQ screen printing machines, it integrates directly into the press and synchronises with its rotation cycle to ensure consistent and coordinated pre-curing between colours.
Applications of the large-format flash unit in textile workshops
This screen printing flash unit is suitable for standard print areas as well as large print surfaces : full back prints on sweatshirts and jackets, all-over prints on oversized t-shirts, and extended branding on promotional textiles.
The ROQ FLASH MOBY meets the needs of workshops handling large-format textile prints. It ensures intermediate pre-curing between colours and reduces the risk of smudging during overprinting.
Its mobile heating panel covers the entire artwork without manual intervention. The operator programmes the active heating zone according to the size and position of the printed design.
Integration of the intermediate flash unit on an automatic press
The ROQ Flash Moby adapts to the main pallet sizes used in professional textile screen printing. Its compact dimensions (1,685 × 1,125 × 1,400 mm) allow integration into most existing production lines.
This pre-curing unit integrates with the following automatic presses :
- ROQ YOU
- ROQ NEXT
- ROQ ECO
- ROQ PRINT
- ROQ OVAL EVOLUTION
The ROQ FLASH MOBY range
The FLASH MOBY 20250 4XL is designed for industrial screen printing workshops requiring an extended flash area and power suited to large-format production.
Before integrating it into an automated screen printing line, it is essential to review its technical specifications to verify electrical compatibility, available space and energy requirements according to workshop conditions.

What is the difference between the Flash Moby and a standard ROQ flash cure unit?
The Flash Moby covers a larger surface and travels across pallets up to 1,100 mm long. It is suitable for large-format prints and heavy ink deposits, where a fixed flash unit may reach its limits.
Why choose the Flash Moby instead of the Flash Run or the ROQ Flash Evolution?
The Flash Moby is specifically designed for large-format production. Unlike the ROQ Flash Run, optimised for high-speed production on standard print areas, and the ROQ Flash Evolution, which focuses on versatility.
It offers the widest pre-curing surface with even heat distribution across the entire treated area.
It is the ideal choice for workshops regularly producing large prints requiring uniform drying across the full surface.
What should be checked before installation?
It is essential to verify compatibility with the installed ROQ model, available space on the production line, and the energy capacity of your electrical system.
