ROQ CTS | Printer for Textile Screen Printing Screens
- Reference: ROQ-CTS
Description
Before production starts, textile screen printing screens require several preparation steps. Operators print the film positives, position the films and prepare each screen before production. These operations quickly slow down multi-colour textile production runs.
The ROQ CTS uses Computer-to-Screen technology to print the artwork directly onto the screen before UV exposure. The system reaches up to 20 screens per hour with a maximum resolution of 1270 × 2400 dpi.
The ROQ CTS suits textile workshops producing at high volume and looking for faster and more consistent screen preparation.
Depending on production volume, the investment becomes cost-effective after 1 to 2 years of use.
Screen preparation without film positives
The ROQ CTS removes the need for film positives during screen preparation.
The artwork goes directly from the software to the screen. The machine prints the design onto the frame before UV exposure. The workshop therefore removes film printing, manual positioning and film storage from the workflow.
The process remains simple: printing with the ROQ CTS, UV exposure, then screen washout. Traditional stages remain in place, but everything related to film positives disappears.
Two versions available depending on screen size
The ROQ CTS comes in two versions to cover different frame sizes used in textile screen printing.
ROQ CTS XL
- Maximum frame size: 660 × 1050 mm
- Maximum printable area: 500 × 700 mm
ROQ CTS 4XL
- Maximum frame size: 1100 × 1600 mm
- Maximum printable area: 950 × 1250 mm
Both versions of the ROQ CTS use a 230 V power supply with a maximum consumption of 2.5 kVA. They operate with ROQ Studio software and include a clamping system compatible with ROQ equipment.
ROQ CTS technical specifications
The RICOH GEN5 print head delivers consistent professional print quality. It produces 7 picolitre droplets for highly detailed printing.
The resolution reaches 1270 × 2400 dpi in high-definition mode. The standard resolution of 1270 × 1200 dpi covers the vast majority of everyday production requirements.
- Technology: Computer-to-Screen

Advantages of the ROQ CTS in textile workshops
The ROQ CTS simplifies screen preparation in textile screen printing. The system reduces handling linked to film positives and standardises the pre-press workflow on repetitive production runs.
- Lower pre-press consumable costs
The system removes film positives and reduces consumables used for film printing. - Fewer manual operations
Operators no longer position film positives onto frames before UV exposure. - Simplified pre-press workflow
The digital workflow reduces stages linked to film printing and film management. - Suitable for textile production runs
The ROQ CTS suits workshops producing multiple screens every day for multi-colour prints or repetitive production runs.
